Cabana #10 Family Beach Review
We decided to rent a cabana on Castaway Cay's Family Beach. The best way to snag one of our Luxurious Cabanas on Castaway Cay is book a Concierge Stateroom. Concierge Guests get Top Priority. I can help you make that happen.
The day before your cabana rental, you’ll receive a cabana information packet as well as wristbands to help you get access to your cabana.
Once you disembark from the ship, just proceed to the tram stop and head to the Family Beach. If you are in the mood, go ahead and walk. I enjoy walking to our Cabana and seeing the Disney Characters along the way.
Once we reached Pelican's Point, we headed to the Cabana Check In. here a cabana host greeted us and shuttled us via golf cart to Cabana 10to give us a quick rundown of the cabana as well as the amenities we’ll receive with your rental.
The first thing you notice is how large and spacious it felt. Plus it was extremely clean and well kept.
The was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
The outdoor patio portion included two cushioned lounge chairs and a chaise lounger.
Pus, there was even a hammock! As well as some floats and tubes.
There was also a private outdoor, freshwater shower and foot wash. To be honest, this was one of my favorite parts since you could wash off and even cool off without having to trek to the beach.
side the Cabana, there were some cool amenities. My favorite was, of course, the stocked fridge that included sodas, water, and cold face towels.
And there was even a basket of snacks such as chips and granola bars. (There was a lot more chips in here, but I was just a little hungry waiting for that BBQ lunch).
And if you needed more, you could press this button to have a cabana host come to you. My family calls this the "Magical" button. I often find my children pushing it to call the Cabana Host to our Cabana. Your host will bring you mostly anything you desire. We like to start the day off with a celebratory glass of champagne delivered to our private Cabana. It's Magical indeed!
Plus, you also had storage closet that included a safe and extra towels.
Plus there was a private changing area….
d when it’s time for lunch, you can either call your cabana host or take a free bike that’s included with your cabana rental.
Finally, when it’s time to head back to the ship after a relaxing day at Castaway Cay, your cabana host Cast Member will take you direct to the boat. No need for trams or anything. That was such a cool bonus perk after a long, hot day when you don’t feel like walking. I always try to be the last one off the island. This is usually around 4:15PM.
Overall, it was an awesome experience.
It was an amazing, comfortable, private retreat that was only steps from the beach.
I can't imagine going to Castaway without renting a cabana. It makes for a beautiful day.
It was just a nice change of pace that I highly recommend everyone tries at least once.
How much does a Castaway Cay Cabana cost?
Prices are seasonal but they are as followed for March thru September:
Family Beach Cabana = $599 for 6 guests with a max of 10 guests
Grand Family Beach Cabana = $949 for 10 guests with a max of 16 guests
Serenity Bay Beach Cabana = $399 for 4 guests with a max of 10 guests
Plus to add an additional guest to a cabana, it costs $50 per guest.
How do you book a Castaway Cay Cabana?
Booking a cabana rental is a very easy process. The hardest part is that these tend to go extremely fast so timing is everything.
Once you're booking window opens up, you can go on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or your online account and book a cabana.
Plus, if you’re a concierge guest, you get priority booking access which means you can snag one before most guests as long as you put the request through your dedicated concierge host via email. I have all the TIPS and TRICKS to help you secure your Cabana as a Concierge Guests.
They literally think of everything to make you feel comfortable.
