Disney Cruise Line
Concierge planning from someone who has actually sailed it
Melissa Jiles is an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner in Arlington, Texas (Dallas–Fort Worth) who specializes in Disney Cruise Line Concierge. She has personally sailed more than 50 Disney cruises. Her planning is complimentary — you pay Disney's published fare, and she handles ship, stateroom, and booking-window strategy.
What Concierge includes
Concierge guests get a dedicated shoreside and onboard team, access to the Concierge lounge and sundeck (on ships that have them), priority check-in and boarding, and — the part that sells out the category — an earlier window to reserve port adventures, adult dining, spa, and nursery. Disney publishes the current windows on its site; as of 2026 Concierge guests can typically work with shoreside Concierge around 130 days before sailing, with activity booking opening ahead of Castaway Club tiers.
How Melissa plans a Concierge sailing
The work starts before your booking window, not after. Together you pick the ship and itinerary that fit the family, then a Concierge category and a specific stateroom location — forward lounge access, midship motion, connecting rooms, accessible needs. She sets reminders for every window, including the cabana and port-adventure race, and stays on the booking if something better opens.
If Concierge is already gone on your first-choice date, she will say so and offer a real alternative: a different sailing, a different category, or waiting on a cancellation. Complimentary planning does not mean pretending inventory exists.
Who this is for
Families who already know they want Concierge, and families who are not sure yet. First-time Disney cruisers who think they need Concierge for “the Disney experience” often do not; repeat cruisers who need cabanas or adult dining on a three-night often do. Melissa will tell you which camp you are in.
She plans remotely for clients nationwide. If you booked with Disney in the last 30 days and have not made final payment, she can transfer the reservation and take it from there.
Frequently asked questions
- What is Disney Cruise Line Concierge?
- Concierge is Disney Cruise Line's premium stateroom category. You book a Concierge stateroom or suite; the lounge, sundeck, dedicated hosts, priority boarding, and earlier activity reservations come with that category. It is not an add-on you can buy for a standard room.
- Is Disney Cruise Line Concierge worth it?
- It is worth it when the early booking window and onboard ease matter more than the fare difference — short, high-demand sailings and families who need Palo, cabanas, or spa times locked in. Melissa has sailed Concierge herself across 50+ Disney cruises and will tell you when a verandah is the better spend.
- How do I book Concierge when it is sold out?
- Concierge inventory on popular sailings often sells out on opening day. The practical move is to work with a planner before your window opens so stateroom location, category, and a backup sailing are decided in advance. Melissa also watches cancellations after opening day.
