Disney Cruise Line Royal and Tower Suites: Every One, Ship by Ship
This is the very best in luxury that Disney has to offer. A Royal or Tower Suite is the most exclusive address on any Disney ship: never more than five on board, each one a private residence at sea with your own Concierge team taking care of every detail. In a Royal Suite, your wine and champagne are replaced as you drink them, Palo is served at your own table, and a golf cart can take you straight to your cabana. If you want the finest Disney vacation there is, it starts here, and I've toured or stayed in every one that's sailing today.
- Every sailing suite toured
- Palo served in-suite, filmed
- Not every Royal Suite is the same
▶ Fantasy: Walter E. Disney Royal Suite 12002, updated
Picture the most coveted rooms at sea: a two-story residence with a spiral staircase, a private penthouse built inside the forward funnel, a verandah with your own hot tub and nothing but ocean beyond it. Real crystal, custom artwork, and a Concierge team who brings everything to you. No two are alike, and the right one depends on how your family will live in it.
What you get
Start with everything Concierge offers: your Concierge team, the lounge and sundeck, the earlier booking window, and priority check-in and boarding. Then a Royal Suite goes further, with perks you simply can't get anywhere else on board.
- Wine and champagne that keep coming: your wine cooler is stocked when you arrive, and your Concierge host replaces what you drink. Drink five bottles, you'll get five bottles back. It flows throughout your stay, not just at the lounge's evening happy hour, and when we wanted a white instead, our host brought one at a similar price.
- Palo at your own table: the Royal Suite is the only suite where you can have Palo delivered, for brunch or dinner. One- and two-bedroom suites can have the main dining rooms brought up, but not Palo. I've filmed these dinners in Royal Suites on the Magic, Fantasy, Wish and Destiny.
- A golf cart to your cabana: on Castaway Cay and at Lighthouse Point, your Concierge team can arrange a personal ride straight to your cabana, based on availability. And since your drinks are included, your host can send your champagne along too.
- A welcome worthy of the suite: I've arrived to fine cheeses and crackers, and my family's favorite drinks in a full refrigerator, with Mickey bars waiting in the freezer.
- A kitchen that works for you: a butler's pantry, a wine cellar, real crystal, and a dining table for six to eight, so you can host your whole family in your suite.
- Priority on the Disney Adventure: my Concierge host told me Royal Suite guests get priority for character meets, the roller coaster and premium dining, so there's nothing for you to line up for.
- Upgraded bath products: I've found Bulgari products in the Royal Suites I've stayed in on the Wonder, Destiny and Adventure.
- Internet for your whole voyage: top suites include Disney's internet package for every guest, one device each, for the full cruise. Some categories include streaming, so ask me about your suite.
How they differ
There are five kinds of top suite in the fleet, and the right one depends on who's coming and how you'll use the space. The Disney Believe adds its own Royal and Tower Suites when it debuts in December 2027.
- Tower Suites (Dream, Fantasy, Wish, Treasure, Destiny): built inside the forward funnel, with a two-story window and a private elevator. They sleep up to eight, the most in the fleet, across two main bedrooms, a children's room and a library with a wall bed. There's no verandah, so they suit a bigger group that wants to be together indoors.
- Two-story Royal Suites (Wish, Treasure, Destiny): the showpiece, with a spiral staircase, two main bedrooms, three baths and a verandah with a whirlpool. They face forward with the captain's view, the best view on the ship, straight out over the bow. A side door opens directly onto the Concierge sundeck on Deck 13, and they sleep six, so they suit a family that wants the wow factor and time outdoors.
- One-story Royal Suites (Wish, Treasure, Destiny): two bedrooms and a whirlpool verandah, all on one level, in the aft corners of Deck 10. They sleep six and suit little ones and grandparents who'd rather skip the stairs. Stateroom 10166 is the accessible suite on these ships.
- Classic Royal Suites (Magic, Wonder, Dream, Fantasy): the Walter E. and Roy O. Disney Suites, on one level with a media library, wet bar and dining space. The Dream and Fantasy suites face forward with the captain's view over the bow, sleep five and have a hot tub on the verandah. The Magic and Wonder suites sleep up to seven. They suit a family that has fallen for one of these ships or its itinerary.
- Frozen Royal Suites (Adventure): at 2,461 square feet with verandah, the Elsa and Anna Royal Suites are the largest staterooms in Disney's entire fleet. They share one layout, so the choice comes down to theme and side of the ship. Each can connect to a one-bedroom sister suite, which makes them a natural fit for a multigenerational trip from Singapore.

How close are you to the lounge and sundeck?
This is the question I always walk through with families, because it changes by ship and by suite.
- Two-story Royal Suites (Wish, Treasure, Destiny): the closest there is. A key unlocks a side door straight onto the Concierge sundeck on Deck 13, so you have direct access, and the Concierge Lounge is one deck down.
- Tower Suites (Wish, Treasure, Destiny): up on Decks 14 and 15, with your own private elevator. The sundeck is one deck below you and the lounge is two.
- One-story Royal Suites (Wish, Treasure, Destiny): aft on Deck 10, at the opposite end of the ship from the lounge and sundeck, which are forward on Decks 12 and 13. Plan on a walk and an elevator ride.
- Dream and Fantasy Royal Suites: on Deck 12 forward with the captain's view, the same deck as the Concierge Lounge, with the sundeck one deck up. The Tower Suite is on Decks 13 and 14.
- Magic and Wonder Royal Suites: midship on Deck 8. The Concierge Lounge is two decks up on Deck 10, by the midship elevators.
- Adventure Royal Suites: Deck 18, with the Concierge Lounge one deck below on Deck 17, the sundeck one deck above on Deck 19, and the Opulence Spa on your own deck.

Connecting rooms: bringing the whole family together
I get this question all the time. Here's what I've filmed on board, and for any sailing I confirm with Disney exactly which doors open before you book.
- Disney Dream and Fantasy (filmed): a wonderful setup for a big group. The two Royal Suites, the One-Bedroom Suite between them (12000) and two Family Verandahs can all connect, and your stateroom host can open the verandah dividers into one large verandah. I toured the connecting doors in the Fantasy's Walter E. Disney Suite.
- Disney Adventure (filmed): each Royal Suite has a sister suite with the same theme, 18200 beside the Anna and 18100 beside the Elsa, that you book separately and connect. They join through a little hallway, even the verandahs connect, and the sister suite sleeps six more, which makes this one of the best multigenerational setups at sea. My tour of 18200 is in the videos below.
- Disney Destiny: I can book a connecting room next to the Hero Suite, so ask me which rooms work for your dates.
- Disney Magic, Wonder, Wish and Treasure: I haven't filmed a connecting door in these Royal or Tower Suites. If you need to be side by side, I've filmed Concierge One-Bedroom Suites on all four ships that connect to the stateroom next door, and I'll map out the closest options for your sailing.
Accessible Royal and Tower Suites
Disney's published accessible stateroom lists include one suite from this table on three ships: Stateroom 10166 on the Wish, Treasure and Destiny. It has a roll-in shower with a fold-down seat and grab bars, ramped thresholds to the bathroom and verandah, wider doors, and a pool lift for the verandah whirlpool on request.
The Dream and Fantasy Tower Suites are newer than the list I have, and I don't have a published list for the Adventure or Believe. If your family needs an accessible suite, tell me early and I'll confirm the options for your sailing.
So what does it cost?
Great question! Prices vary by sailing, so the real answer depends on your ship, your dates and your suite. Tell me what you're dreaming about and I'll price it for you. My planning is always complimentary.

Questions I get all the time
- How many Royal and Tower Suites does each Disney ship have?
- The Magic, Wonder and Adventure each have two Royal Suites. The Dream and Fantasy have two Royal Suites plus a Tower Suite. The Wish, Treasure and Destiny have four Royal Suites, two with two stories and two with one, plus a Tower Suite.
- Can you have Palo dinner served in a Royal Suite?
- Yes. Royal Suite guests can have Palo and the main dining room menus served in-suite by the Concierge team. I've filmed it on the Magic, Fantasy, Wish and Destiny, and I'll show you how to arrange it.
