Disney Dream Concierge: Updated Lounge, Deck 13 Sundeck, Fort Lauderdale
The Dream was my first Concierge sailing after the long 2020 pause, and watching her Concierge team welcome families back is still one of my favorite memories. Since then the lounge has been updated and the Deck 13 sundeck reimagined, and I've filmed both.
- Lounge updated 2024
- Reimagined sundeck, Deck 13
- Now sailing from Fort Lauderdale
▶ The updated Concierge Lounge and sundeck, full guide
Concierge on the Dream sits on Decks 11 and 12, with the lounge on 12 and the sundeck one flight up on 13. That sundeck is where the Concierge-only fireworks viewing happens on Pirate Night, and yes, where the smoothie machine lives.
What I'd book, and why
- Family Oceanview Verandahs 12516 and 12518 are classic Concierge entry points, and my 2020 tour of 12516 is one of the most-watched videos I've ever made.
- One-Bedroom Suite 11200 is the suite I send families to who want a true separate bedroom without going Royal; the 24-minute tour is below.
- Perks filmed on the Dream: private fireworks viewing from the Concierge sundeck, a Concierge-only lunch in Royal Palace, and private character meets in the lounge and on the sundeck.
- The Dream now sails from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, with a new Concierge lounge in the terminal. My check-in walk-through shows exactly where to go.
Dream vs. Fantasy
Sister ships, nearly identical decks, but the Concierge lounges have diverged since the Fantasy's Hercules-themed reimagining. I filmed a side-by-side so you can see the differences before you choose an itinerary.

Questions I get all the time
- Where is the Concierge Lounge on the Disney Dream?
- The Concierge Lounge is on Deck 12 forward, with the Concierge sundeck directly above on Deck 13. Concierge staterooms are on Decks 11 and 12. I'm Melissa Jiles, an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, and both the updated lounge and the reimagined sundeck are filmed on this page.
- Where does the Disney Dream sail from?
- As of my 2025 sailings the Dream has been homeported at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, which has a dedicated Concierge lounge in the terminal. Itineraries change by season, so tell me your dates and I'll confirm the port and the check-in process for your sailing.
